I have been operating this Article Directory for about 2 years, and in this time I have reviewed over 90,000 articles that have been submitted by some of the Webs best internet writers.

While reviewing all of these articles I quickly learnt what makes a good article and what makes a bad article. I also learnt how to structure articles and how to optimise them for the Search Engines.

I took all of this information and I put it into an article writing system.

Over the years I also read other peoples products on Article Writing and refined my system.

Why should I write articles?

Why was the Internet invented? It was invented for one simple reason, to share information, thats it.
Sure, we can now stream videos and audio. But all of this boils down to one thing. To share information.
And the best way to share information is by writing articles and publishing them on your blog or web site, and by submitting them to Article Directories.
If you do this consistently, you will get your message out to a very wide audience very quickly, which in turn increases your reach and expands your audience.

What if I have no experience writing articles?

You don't have to be a fantastic writer to write articles on the Internet. You just need to be able to string a sentence together.
When I talk about writing articles, I don't mean writing a long masterpiece either. Most Article Directories will accept articles that are as short as 300 words long. However, the optimum length of an article is about 800 words long.
Don't worry, I've put together a fantastic course that will show you how to write articles that will be snapped up by the Article Directories, will get you listed in the search engines, and will bring you more traffic than you could have ever imagined.

What will I write about?

You can write about anything, some people just write about their daily happenings (that is why Blogs are so popular).
While other people write about what they are passionate about.
Here is a quick list of just some of the things that come to mind:

• I have a web site and I want to get traffic. I start an Article Marketing campaign discussing the topic that my site is about. This allows me to position myself as an expert and increase the reach of my web site.
  
• I am an Affiliate Marketer. I use Articles to write reviews about products I love. In return if people buy through my link, I earn a commission.
  
• I am passionate about a topic and I just want to share my views with the world.
  
• I like teaching people. I use my articles to educate people.
  
• I disagree with something and I want to tell the world.
  
• I run a small business and I want to promote it.

Of course there are many more reasons why people write articles, but the above list should get you thinking.
The main reason I write articles is to generate traffic to my web site and to let people know about what I do.
Yes, I still do Search Engine Optimisation, but Article writing is the corner stone of my traffic generation tactics.
But, before you rush off and start writing articles, please remember one thing.
Article writing is not hard, but it is not an overnight solution. Don't go and write a couple of articles and expect to be flooded with traffic. It does not work that way.

How often should I write articles?

I've met some people who write an article a day to get their message out fast. These people in my view are either very dedicated, or just plain nuts!
Yes, if you can do this consistently for about 1 - 2 months you will really notice the traffic.
Just imagine each article is an optimised little messenger running all over the internet spreading your message 24 hours per day.
If you wrote an article every single day, after 60 days you would have over 60 articles in the top Article Directories alone, not to mention if your articles are republished in magazines or on other web sites.
If you continued to do this, the reach to your web site would grow dramatically and you would be getting a constant stream of traffic. And best of all, it would not cost you a cent.
However, you do not need to write an article every day to make your mark. I prefer to write 1 - 2 articles per week for about 3 months. Do this for 3 months and you should start noticing the traffic.
The key here is not how often you write, but how consistently you write.
